A bachelorette party is one of the most important events in a woman’s life, the last evening of a bride’s self-determination.
In the old times, it was a gathering of women closest to the bride: sisters, female friends, mothers, aunts, – this is how the denotation mergvakaris (girls’ party) originated.
This gathering was also referred to as pintuvės, vakarynos, prieveselis.
As required by ancestral traditions, on the eve of the wedding, the girls used to take a sauna bath. Sauna had always been a sacral, womanly venue. During the sauna bath dedicated to the bachelorette party, the woman’s bond with the earth, which is the primordial spring of the feminine energy, gets established. All the five elements of the Universe are unlocked: water, wood, fire, earth and metal. The whole evening used to be permeated with songs, spell-casting and superstitions.
Under the Bachelorette Party programme, after (or before) sauna procedures, you will be able to eternalize yourself in a photo-session, dressed in archaic Baltic attire, in the authentic homestead setting.
We will put you through your chosen educational programme (weaving / writing with a goose quill / archaic household chores / fabrication of talismans or amulets).
You will get a chance to spend the evening by the fire, dancing, singing or sharing true-life stories.

If you trust the feminine power and support, if you feel their powerful presence at your back, if you understand the deeper meaning of this occasion – you are welcome to show up.
